Jill's audio fiction has been featured internationally by Chicago Public Radio, the Third Coast International Audio Festival, and New Adventures in Sound Art. Her work has appeared in Stop Smiling Magazine, Ninth Letter, VAIN magazine, littleBANG, Gapers Block, This 'Zine Will Change Your Life, Annalemma, The 2nd Hand, Please-Don't, and MAKE magazine, and as a Featherproof MiniBook. She has three collections of audio shorts, Cohabitation, Les Petites Tristes, and The Diagnosis of Sadness.

Jill has received the Weisman Grant, the CAAP grant, and an IL Arts Council Literary Award and is a two time Caxton Club Fellow. Her first play, In the Curious Hold of the Demeter: Count Orlock at Sea, was produced by The Incurable Theater this Fall at the Chicago Cultural Center. She also runs Stray Dog Recording Co. in Chicago.

She was Chicago's reigning Opium Magazine Literary Death Match Champ from 5/23/09 - 7/31/09.
